What started as a small farm has grown into something much more

Foxtown Farm began as an organic ginger and turmeric farm tucked into the mountains of Colorado. Each week at the farmers market, I often found myself with extra ginger and turmeric that hadn’t sold. Rather than let it go to waste, I started experimenting in the kitchen and bringing what I made back to market.

Using honey from a friend’s local apiary and the ginger and turmeric I grew myself, I created a beautifully intense, pourable honey that quickly became a favorite. That’s how our Honey Syrup was born.

As the syrups grew in popularity, they began to take on a life of their own. When I eventually moved from my mountain town to the big city, the farm went on pause, but the Honey Syrups kept growing. Today, they’re available in farmers markets and stores across the state.

Ginger and turmeric remain the inspiration behind everything we make at Foxtown Farm. They’re remarkable plants with deep culinary traditions, long valued for their ability to nourish the body while bringing warmth, depth, and vibrancy to everyday food and drink.

I’m still a farmer at heart. At Foxtown Farm, we value a close connection to the land and the people who grow our food. Every ingredient we use is either organic or sourced from farmers we know and trust, and quality is never an afterthought.
