Frequently Asked Questions
What is a honey syrup, and how is it different from regular honey?
Honey syrups are pourable, flavored honeys made with pure honey and fresh, organic ginger, turmeric, and select spices. They’re sweetened entirely with honey and contain only simple, pure ingredients.
Because of their smooth, syrup-like consistency, they’re much easier to pour and incorporate into your favorite dishes and drinks than regular honey.
And a little goes a long way—each bottle is packed with bold flavor.
Do your honey syrups contain added sugar, fillers, or preservatives?
No added sugar. No fillers. No preservatives.
Just pure clover honey combined with organic ginger, turmeric, and spices.
Are your honey syrups organic?
All ingredients except the honey are certified organic. Honey is difficult to certify organic because bees can travel miles from their hives, making full control of their foraging impossible.
We work with a beekeeper we know and trust, and who produces an incredibly high-quality honey that we’re proud to put in our products.
How do I use honey syrup?
There are countless ways to use honey syrup. It’s excellent in tea, coffee, cocktails, and seltzer, as well as in salad dressings, stir-fries, sauces and glazes, baked goods, oatmeal and granola, smoothies, ice cream—or enjoyed on its own as a nourishing tonic.
How much should I use at a time?
It depends on your taste, but for drinks, about one tablespoon per serving is a great place to start. Adjust up or down to your preference.
Our honey syrups are made with generous amounts of fresh organic ginger, turmeric, and elderberries, giving them a bold, vibrant flavor—a little goes a long way.
What is the texture or consistency like?
It has a smooth, pourable consistency similar to maple syrup.
Does the honey syrup need to be refrigerated?
No refrigeration is required. Store at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight.
How long is it good for?
For the best flavor and quality, we recommend enjoying your honey syrup within 18 months of opening. As with any natural food product, inspect before use and discard if spoilage is evident.
Will the honey syrup crystallize or separate over time?
Some natural separation can occur—just give the bottle a shake before each use.
If stored in a cold environment for an extended period, the syrup may thicken slightly, but it won’t crystallize the way traditional honey does. If it ever becomes too thick, placing the bottle in warm water will return it to its normal consistency.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship anywhere within the United States.
